Worked with numerous clients to evaluate workflow, perform systems analysis and design, and deliver web applications written in ColdFusion, Perl, PHP, JSP, XML, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, mySQL and Access.
Projects include:
PHH (Automotive /Application Service Provider): Worked within a team to redesign and develop their web based ordering system and Motor Vehicle Records system, improving workflow and UI design. Worked in efforts to reorganize and re-architect their I5 Web based Fleet Management suite and layout coding and design standards. Combined complex business rules, legacy systems and requirements into real-world web based applications. Worked as a team lead, designing and architecting their Canadian MVR application and Preventative Maintenance program, enforcing design and coding standards. Designed, prototyped, developed, and architected systems and wrote a series of documents for technical and non-technical design, as well as component and page flows. Application was written in ColdFusion using the FuseBox architecture, with a Sybase database backend. Involved with tuning and performance enhancements across site, as well as UI and graphic design, using Adobe Photoshop.
INPUT (IT/Application Service Provider): Developed multiple internal and external applications using ColdFusion with a SQL Server backend. Provided consultation with workflow with applications as well as software development lifecycle and systems architecture. Developed application to grab zipped data from government website to parse XML data and import into INPUT systems. Mentored junior developers in web development projects and processes.
Lanex (IT/manufacturing): Provided consultation with workflow and manufacturing processes. Implemented AllianceMFG software for inventory tracking and materials/resource planning. Developed On-line reports and replicated AllianceMFG software in ColdFusion, interfacing with the AllianceMFG Access database backend. Developed an application for tracking software releases for Lanex products, as well as complete software development lifecycle management solution using ColdFusion, SQL Server, XML, CSS, Photoshop and HTML. Also developed code in PHP for allowing dealers and customers to purchase products on-line through their website.
Viaken (Biotech/Bioinformatics): Architected, designed, and developed content management solution in ColdFusion for managing content on their external website as well as their Intranet and Sales sites. Designed security framework for enabling content development, approval workflow, and content promotion. Developed system for Help Desk/Ticket System and Server Modification Tracking. Apps developed in ColdFusion with SQL Server backend. Helped with Citrix implementations and provided customizations to Citrix Nfuse, writing JSP and Perl/CGI, developing on-line reporting tools for user and application usage on client networks. Developed a web application for analyzing Clone and Sequence data, written in PHP with an Oracle backend.
Light Industries (IT Consulting): Provided customizations with iMIS eSeries, developing custom reports and modifying existing code in ColdFusion, and modifying existing database in SQL Server. Delivered solutions to non-profit organizations.
T. Rowe Price (Financial): Developed web application for Retail department for managing leads and tracking customer calls. Application was written in ColdFusion; developed with an Oracle backend database. Also performed server tuning on ColdFusion server and existing apps, and developed file mirroring solution for Allaire Spectra in Perl.
BigHead IS (Web Development/Graphic Design): Worked with BIS to deliver a coursework/speaking engagement management tool for gathering and managing session and workshop material, content approval, and catalog publishing. Also worked with BIS to implement content management solution, customizations to iMIS eSeries, email marketing application, and on-line election/voting app with iMIS integration to SRA International, a non-profit organization in Virginia; responsible for requirements gathering, documentation, architecture, design, and implementation; the web-based applications were developed using ColdFusion and Fusebox, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL Server.
Red Cliff Consulting (IT/Security Consulting): Managed a small development team that architected, designed, prototyped, and developed an Electronic Evidence Hosting application for hosting evidence and forensic data for red-cliff clients, leveraging enCase tools for extraction. Framework implemented for role based security. The web-based app was developed using ColdFusion using Fusebox, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL Server, along with CSS for styles and Photoshop for graphic design. Worked with client to design and develop a website for Red Cliff Consulting. Developed prototype, created layout, designed and developed their web site using PHP and Adobe Photoshop.
JRD Corporation (IT/Security Consulting): Worked with client to design and develop a website for JRD Corp. Developed prototype, created layout, designed and developed their web site using PHP and Adobe Photoshop, as well as integration into Joomla CMS.
Responsibilities include working with clients to develop custom web applications, installing, customizing, and configuring Clearysofts products, configuring and developing Oracle and SQL databases, programming in ColdFusion, PHP, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, PERL, JSP, HTML, SQL, and Unix Shell scripting.
